The Port of Astoria was established in 1910. We are governed by the rules of the 俄勒冈州 还有一个选举产生的董事会 委员 sets policy for management by the Executive Director.
The Port is located in, and has the same boundaries as, 克拉特索普县 in the extreme northwest corner of Oregon, where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. Approximately 90 miles from Portland, highway access is via Oregon Highways 26 and 30 and across the Astoria-Megler Bridge via Washington Highways 101 and 8. Rail access is available to Tongue Point via the Astoria Branch of the Portland & 西部铁路公司.
The Port of Astoria manages a combination of marine, marina, industrial, and aviation facilities. These facilities are primarily located in the City of Astoria (Port waterfront properties and infrastructure) and the City of Warrenton (airport and industrial properties).
The Port offers services to commercial and recreational boaters at its two marinas and boatyard, 商船和货船, 鱼加工, 游轮, and research vessels at its deep-draft marine terminals, and operates the Astoria/Warrenton Regional E世博官网首页. - Supporting new businesses through maintaining deep-draft terminal capabilities, leveraging assets to support commercial fishing and tourism, and marketing a variety of industrial properties.
- Developing a strategic vision with the flexibility to respond to new and emerging market or business opportunities.
